Responsible Land Use
How Noah & Company Is Powering Adventure Acres at Silver Lake
We started Noah & Company with a simple idea: use the gear we wear every day to fund the places and moments that matter. This year, our community project is big, local, and wildly fun—Adventure Acres near the Silver Lake Sand Dunes (Mears, MI): a nature-forward retreat with A-frame cabins, RV pads, and tent sites designed for families, friends, and fresh-air seekers.
Here’s exactly how we’re raising the money—and how every purchase moves shovels in the ground.
The Funding Stack (Plain English, No Jargon)
1) Every Purchase Pays It Forward
A portion of each Noah & Co. sale goes into our annual Sanctuary Fund. This cycle, we’re earmarking the Fund to core site work at Adventure Acres—think roads, power, bathhouse, septic, and first A-frame cabin.
2) Founders Passes (Limited!)
Founders Passes are our biggest accelerator. You’re pre-buying stoke and getting perks that compound over time.
Perks include:
Free or discounted midweek stays at Adventure Acres (once we open dates)
Early booking windows during peak dune season
Members-only apparel drops + lifetime discount
Invite-only “First Night at the Dunes” event and build-progress tours
3) Purposeful Drops & Pre-Orders
Select apparel drops are tied to specific milestones—e.g., “Power & Roads”, “Bathhouse Build”, “Cabin One”. When you buy from those drops, your dollars are literally marked for that phase.
4) Matching & Micro-Sponsors
We’re lining up local partners to match Sanctuary Fund dollars on certain weekends and product categories (firewood bundles, trail tees, dune hats). If your company wants to underwrite picnic tables, trees, or campsites, we’ll put your name on the build wall.
Where the Money Goes
We keep it tight and tangible:
Phase 1: Access & Utilities – Site entrance, internal roads, primary power, initial water/septic
Phase 2: Bathhouse – Showers, laundry, ADA-ready
Phase 3: Lodging Start – First A-frame cabin, RV pads live, tent sites powered
Phase 4: Community Spaces – Saunas/soaks, picnic groves, gear shed, kids’ zones
We publish progress updates and receipts-style summaries so you can see what was built, when, and at what cost. Transparency is a feature, not a footnote.
Why Adventure Acres?
Because the dunes are magic—and access should feel welcoming, not exclusive. Adventure Acres is built around renewal, refuge, and responsibility: places to rest, room to breathe, and a promise to leave the land better than we found it. Expect smart density (not sprawl), native plantings, low light pollution, and programming that’s family-forward and Michigan-proud.

FAQ
Is this a donation or a purchase?
Most of our funding comes from purchases and passes (with member value returned through perks and stays). We also accept direct contributions to the Sanctuary Fund if you prefer that route.
When do Founders perks start?
Merch discounts and private updates start immediately. Early-booking and stay credits begin once construction milestones are certified and dates go live (we’ll communicate timelines clearly).
How do you report progress?
Quarterly build notes + photos, and milestone breakdowns (e.g., “Bathhouse funded and poured”). If we pivot due to permitting or environmental findings, we’ll explain the change and re-assign funds transparently.
The Big Picture
